This training will review the importance of early childhood mental health, including how trauma and adversity impacts young children and their families. Child-Parent Psychotherapy is a specialized evidence-based, dyadic intervention for young children (ages 0-5) and families impacted by trauma. This webinar will provide an overview of the comprehensive developmental and trauma assessment phase of CPP and cover the foundational practice within CPP treatment.

Lindsey Ondrak is a licensed independent mental health practitioner (LIMHP) and licensed professional counselor (LPC) providing outpatient individual and family therapy with specialized training in trauma and attachment. Lindsey is trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma Focused Attachment Therapy/Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Theraplay (Level 1), Brainspotting, Circle of Security Parenting (Facilitator), and Reflective Practice/Consultation. In 2007, she received her master’s degree (MA) in Community Counseling in Harrisonburg, VA.
