About This Event

This session will provide an in-depth overview of the Nebraska Domestic Abuse Death Review Team (DADRT), including its mission and purpose, for a state-wide audience. The team conducts a multidisciplinary analysis of domestic abuse-related deaths, reviewing the experiences of victims, the behaviors of perpetrators, and the circumstances surrounding each case. Through this collaborative process, the DADRT identifies key factors that contribute to domestic violence fatalities and highlights areas for improvement in how systems respond to victims of abuse. We will also discuss the team’s current work and ongoing initiatives to enhance Nebraska’s efforts in protecting and supporting individuals at risk of domestic violence.

Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A panel with current DADRT members, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage directly with the team, ask questions, and gain further insight into their crucial role in shaping policy and advancing community safety.

Registration will close September 30th.
