Protection Orders in Practice: Myths, Realities, and Safety Considerations

This training will explore how to talk about protection orders with victims in a practical way, outlining the different types of protection orders and discussing their pros and cons. Participants will also learn strategies to incorporate safety planning into the protection order process. By the end of the session, attendees will have a stronger understanding of how to navigate these complex situations and support victims in making informed decisions that prioritize their safety.
