About This Event
Ever wonder how the Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) model of reflective practice could help you in your exact job? Join us as we hear from attorney, April Kirkendall, as she shares how the FAN model of Reflective Practice can support attorneys in client meetings, interacting with colleagues and being in the courtroom.
Attendees will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of reflective practice and why it is important for helping professionals;
- Receive a brief overview of the Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN) model of reflective practice;
- Hear directly from a local attorney about how they use the FAN model in their work and how it benefits them as a professional;
- Learn what the Nebraska Center on Reflective Practice offers regarding FAN training, reflective consultation and other reflective practice training opportunities.

April Kirkendall is a staff attorney with Legal Aid of Nebraska. She currently leads the UPLIFT Project, a community lawyering collaboration. April also has extensive experience representing parents and children in Juvenile court.
