About This Training

Overview:

  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Training is an 18-month intensive training program to enable therapists in Nebraska and other states to work with caregivers and children ages 0 to 5 who have experienced trauma, loss, or disruptions in attachment. Training Dates: 

  • Required Prework Session: April 17, 2026 - 9 am to 12 pm CT (Virtual)
  • Learning Session 1: May 6-8, 2026 - 9 am to 4 pm CT
  • Learning Session 2: November 5-6, 2026 - 9 am to 4 pm CT
  • Learning Session 3: April 8-9, 2026 - 9 am to 4 pm CT
    • Learning Session Location: 206 S 13th St, Lincoln, NE 68508 (Sharp Building)

Consultation Calls and Reflective Supervision:

  • Training includes virtual twice-monthly CPP Consultation Calls for the duration of the 18-month training.
    • Consultation Calls take place on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 12-1:30 pm CT.

The 2026 Spring CPP Training application deadline is Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 11:59 pm (CT).
