Reflective Supervisor Training

Reflective Supervisor Training

A 2-month training program to help supervisors strengthen both their internal leadership capacity and their practical supervision skills.

We'll show you how to understand yourself and guide others

Supervision is more than managing tasks — it's about understanding people, navigating complexity, and creating the conditions for others to succeed.

Understanding yourself

  • Explore how emotions, reactions, assumptions, and experiences influence the way you lead.
  • Develop greater self-awareness and practical strategies for responding intentionally.

Guiding others

  • Strengthen communication and navigate challenges. Support staff growth, confidence, and autonomy.
  • Learn strategies for difficult conversations, feedback, team dynamics, and change.

You will leave with actionable strategies you can immediately apply to strengthen supervision conversations, support employee growth, and lead your teams with greater clarity and confidence.

Training components

Three parts over two months.

  1. Pre-training Consultation Calls

    2-3 weeks prior to training

Two one-hour calls to reflect on leadership experiences and explore strengths and challenges in supervision.

  2. Instructor-led training

Two in-person days, structured in two parts — building first on the self-awareness work from above, then applying it to supervision and staff development.

  3. Post-training Consultation Calls

    2-3 weeks after training

Two one-hour calls to help supervisors reflect on how they apply the skills in their supervisory practice.
